Three highly anticipated video game titles

PC gaming is an addiction but mostly in a positive way. It generates good vibes in gamers and prepare them to face their routine work. A recent ban imposed on a mobile edition of PUBG (Player unknown’s battleground) by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority raised a new debate either video gaming is pushing kids towards violence or not. I have been a gamer for the last two decades and played countless titles from very diverse genre selection. Most of my time spent against first-person shooters and believe me it never urged me to be violent from any aspect. Gaming remained merely a hobby for me till 2010 and later on a good stress buster. Anyhow this blog is not for debate against or in favor of gaming and there will be another blog for this specific topic. Addiction to anything could lead to negative things but if you are good and addicted to video gaming, make it your career path. So further in this blog, I will be introducing three upcoming PC game titles I have been waiting this year.

Cyberpunk 2077

In seven years since announced cyberpunk 2077 has generated a monumental amount of hype among gamers. It is a role-playing title developed by CD Projekt and CD Projekt Red, the makers of incredible RPG series “Witcher”. The developers have managed to keep gamers interest peaked by being very tight-lipped about what’s in their sleeves till mid of 2020. As it is said it is a single-player open-world RPG with real-time combat which is almost entirely from a first-person perspective with a rare exception of a few third-person cut scenes. The player will take the role of a character that is fully customizable in all aspects from stats and perks to his back story or life path and appearances as well. You can check out more details on this title at www.cyberpunk.net. The developers intended to release this title in April 2020 then delayed its release till the coming September and now it is further delayed till coming November. According to developers, they are going to release the game in perfect condition.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

A historical action series developed and published by UBI soft. The title is among few things, UBI soft is famous for. Other than that UBI soft is famous for its bug loaded titles and slow resolve towards them. The upcoming title will portray the Viking invasion on Britannia in the 9th century. The franchise has been evolved pretty much since “Black Flag”. The last two titles “Origins” and “Odyssey” have given players much more control over the storyline and the fighting has not remained as simple and repetitive as in earlier titles. This is one of the highly anticipated video game titles in fall 2020. Let’s hope UBI soft will do things right this time.

Mafia Definite Edition

I was about to add “Medal of Honor: above and beyond” in the last but the VR title is still hefty on my wallet. To me, VR is not a lost cause but it is too early to be very honest. For gamers, it is not accepted as an affordable gaming solution. Mafia wasn’t a completely open-world RPG title but it takes you in the “Godfather” realm and if you are a fan of the classic novel by Mario Puzo then you going to love this game. 2K games have upgraded the upcoming title from Mafia III. Developers are very confident that this title can relive the glory days of the franchise.
