Google plans to cross the Atlantic

Google LLC formerly known as Google Inc(1998-2020) is considered as one of the conglomerates alongside Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft. Google is a company that specializes in SEO (Search Engine Optimization),online-based advertising technology, and cloud computing.
Recently Google showed its interest to build a subsea cable that will be connected to New York (US), Bude (UK), and Bilbao (Spain) across the Atlantic ocean.

Google Grace Hopper cable to link US and UK

This cable is reported to be named after a famous scientist named Grace Hopper (December 9, 1906 – January 1, 1992).
Google is planning to enhance its Google Cloud region in Madrid by connecting the region to its global network.
This cable is comprised of 16 fiber pairs, which is usually a pretty standard number. Bikash Koley (Vice President of Google Global Networking) says the submarine cable will reap the full benefits of integrated fiber-optic with switching technology in collaboration with Subcom to improve system reliability. It should be noted that the capacity of the system was not disclosed.
